May trade Ubaldo for minor leaguers

I am in a 20-team, keep-everyone league with minor league rosters. I have Ubaldo Jiminez and, other than that, a poor-to-mediocre team.

Another guy in the league thinks he's an ace away from willing, so I'm thinking I may trade Ubaldo if it will pay off in future seasons.

The players he's mentioning are:

Grant Green
Dettin Betances
Ben Revere
Miguel Velasquez
Wilin Rosario
Jurickson Profar (although he said he's not sure if he would trade him)

He is also talking about draft picks next year, and Shane Victorino (who I don't really need)

So my question for anyone who can help is: how good are these players? how confident can I be that they will pan out? And how many prospects would be "fair" in return for one of the top pitchers in MLB? I want to win the trade...he very well may win this year if he makes it, so I think I deserve a whole lot

(I also have Cain and Hamels...what would they command?)

No thank you. For your situation, you're getting pretty much a pile of garbage. There's no magic number of how many prospects or what quality you should get. Your trading a 26 year old ace in a 20 team league. I would want MLB players or at least multiple can't miss prospects. Green & Revere are nice prospects but far from the caliber you want in the center of a trade for U-Ball.

I wouldn't even trade Cain or Hamels for the package you're getting.

Gotcha. After doing some research tonight, I came to the same conclusion!

I offered Ubaldo for Shane Victorino, Jose Valverde (I need a closer) and Grant Green. If that's not in the ballpark, I'm not going to trade him. I figure Ubaldo should be getting every bit the love that Strasburg is.

Thanks for the advice! I've been playing fantasy baseball for ten years plus, but this is the first time I have had to pay attention to the minors (I inherited a team). I actually already have some nice prospects...Dominic Brown, Dustin Ackley, Chris Carter
