(WHIR) Garza, Furcal, Cantu for Halladay, Wells, Bruce

10 team, head to head 5x5

so this guy i've been sending offers to for a while has finally decided to make some proposals to me.

the problem is the guy's clearly a moron and doesn't seem to understand player values.

he started by offering me jay bruce for rafael furcal.
don't completely understand what he was thinking and in my response i said i'd veto that deal if i saw it (he got the league to veto one of my big trades a few months ago).

so he just sent me this.

I get:
Vernon Wells
Jay Bruce
Jonny Gomes

He gets:
Rafael Furcal
Jorge Cantu
Angel Pagan

so this proposal is absolutely terrible and i have no plans on accepting it.
and it amazes me that these are the proposals he's making to me knowing that i'm looking for pitching.

i'm really unsure of whether to deal furcal, but i figured i'd counter with this just to explain what he's trying to acquire.

I get:
Roy Halladay
Vernon Wells
Jay Bruce
Jonny Gomes

He gets:
Matt Garza
Rafael Furcal
Jorge Cantu
Angel Pagan

i haven't made this offer, just wanted to see what you guys think.
i've got jimmy rollins as well so losing furcal isn't a major blow, but he's been so hot i'm questioning whether rollins is the one i should be dealing, if i even need to.

here's my roster

I don't think yours goes ahead as you might see.

I would take his offer based on value and then move some of those pieces for your desired pitching.

Does this help? Not sure the exact response you wanted.

I say keep Rollins. He's a second half player.

I would also take that deal. nice upgrade from Garza to Halladay.

Thanks for your help.

I would do it as well. Major upgrade with Halladay and it takes your SP from pretty good to really good. Especially the way Cahill has been rolling. I prefer rollins over furcal as i dont think furcal will sustain it the 2nd half of the season. I think the phillies get hot and make a run. Take a look at mine. Fielder vs. quentin post. I'm not sure how to link it. Thanks!
