CarGo Keeper League Trade.....Please help

I currently am in first place in a 14 team standard roto 5 X 5 keeper league. My two lowest point areas are saves and average. I was offered Ichiro and R. Soriano for CarGo. Should I do it?

We get to keep 5 players each year and here is my team:
C - K. Suzuki
1B - J. Loney
2B - H. Kendrick
3B - R. Zimmerman
SS - E. Andrus
CI - C. Jones
MI - M. Prado
OF - CarGo, J. Upton, N. Cruz, D. Span, C. Hart
Util - D. Stubbs
B - D. Fowler, C. Davis, C. Crisp
P - Sabathia, Price, Hanson, Strasburg, Papelbon, Rauch, Gregerson, Madson, Meek
IR - B. Anderson, T. Snider, D. Freese

I have some solid keeper options other than CarGo, so thinking it might be worth it to make the move to try to win this year. But just worry that CarGo may end up to be top 10 player going forward and that seems like a lot to pay. Thought?

I like it. You have 6 strong keepers other than CarGo and Ichiro should be nearly as valuable this year, espeically if you're behind in average. Getting Soriano is very nice for you, obviously. The real reason to make this deal is that, while I agree CarGo has top 10 upside, it would be very hard to expect much more going forward. He walks less than 5% of the time, which makes it hard to maintain a high batting average. That alone might make the .312 BA seem a bit too high, but add in a .358 babip and it's safe to expect a regression. I don't think the bottom will fall out, but it would be safer to expect a .285-.290 BA from here on out.

Incidentally, fangraphs just updated their OF rankings, so you may want to hop on over there. I'd include a link, but I'm not sure it's allowed. They have Ichiro and CarGo very close... although CarGo is in their top tier and Ichiro in the second.
