Crawford for Lincecum - WHIR

I have Crawford in an 8 team roto league. I'm 2nd at present, but a bit behind the leader. My main weak areas are in ERA, Ks and in RBI. I'm leading in runs and clearly 2nd in steals (and those are pretty much locked in), and I do have Ellsbury to come back at some point, so I figure I can afford to lose Crawford. If I got Lincecum, I could then try trading some of my SP depth for a power bat. Good plan, or not?

Also, is this fair value - I previously offered Crawford and Matt Cain for Lincecum/Dunn, but he doesn't like Cain much. I would like to get Dunn, so other starters that I could offer in that deal would be Hanson, Jaime Garcia, or Nolasco (or Shields but I'd be shocked if he would take that).

Final question, any other pitchers that you would trade for Crawford straight up?

I would say it's a fair trade. Doesn't mean it'll get accepted, but it's fair.

I'd say it's a fair trade even if you can't make it 2 for 2. It sounds like you'll get the help you need plus you can always work a different deal with another team later on. I don't know what other pitchers you could go for considering we don't know if any of their owners would be inclined to trade certain guys for Crawford - but you should expect a top 15 pitcher in return for Crawford.

The original trade seems very fair, especially if your weak in some pitching categories.
