Do you think Seattle would bring up Montero this season?

Granted, I despise the Yankees, this would do well for Lee with the run support the Yankees could produce behind him, as opposed to the shotty lineup of Seattle. Would love to have him on the Mets though

More power to them if they can pull it off. I guess my question would be, from a Yankees perspective, why do it? That team is good enough to win it as is, and all signs point to Lee signing with them in the offseason anyway, so why give up a chip like Montero? Unless they're afraid of the Rays making a run (very possible) or the Sox (doubtful *sigh* with all the injuries) or Lee going to another AL contender like the Twins or Rangers.

I don't know, I think that rotation is good enough now to not warrant giving up a piece like Montero, unless he's another overhyped Yankee prospect.

I can't believe they'd give up Montero, when it seemingly would have cost less to trade for Lee from the Phillies in the offseason and had him for a whole year and not had Vazquez. I guess the Yankees would have to get rid of Vazquez who although his season line looks bad, has been really good for the last 6 weeks. Personally I'd rather have Vazquez and Montero than Lee. The Yankees wouldn't even use Vazquez in the playoffs and he really isn't hurting them much now since they have the best record in baseball.
