I think I would take Oliver Perez and 7 bucks for Upton.

I would not do it. I think people are trying to sell high on Garcia right now. Upton has started to heat up and has alot more potential than Garcia for the remainder of the season. If this is a keeper league, than Upton is even more valuable. Your pitching seems solid enough with Lincecum that I dont think this adds much for you. If anything it really hurts your outfield.
Help with mine...

Excuse me? Upton starting to heat up? What are you looking at? He is 4 - 26 over the last week or so. 1-5 yesterday . O hrs O steals and 1 RBI during that hot stretch. Man I would really hate to see him in a slump. Everybody says Potential. Thats crap. I don't know about you but if I waited around for every player that had potential I'd be in last place every year. Move on from this bum.And bruce shouldn't even be owned in a ten team league.

On both of these guys.

How much does 7 FA dollars get you? What is a free agent worth?
I'd say don't do it... Upton will be fine.

I would keep justin upton. GArcia is very young and coming off TJ surgery. It won't matter if Cards are in the race or not in the 2nd half, they WILL monitor his innings, and probably shut him down, too; they'll want to protect him for the future, and even if he wasn't coming off TJ surgery(and he IS), most really young arms fade in the 2nd half cuz the workload in the majors is much more grueling than in the minors; and I believe in the Verducci effect(he may not, but I go with history and the odds). To me it's a no-brainer: keep upton. Just one man's opinion, though
