Rotowire "Peavy left Tuesday's game with an apparent right arm injury, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports. He has had issues with his throwing shoulder earlier in the season, but it's not yet clear if the two are related. He's a stubborn guy and wouldn't leave a start after 1.2 innings unless things were seriously wrong, so you might want to get those Daniel Hudson buttons ready."
Was watching the game, and on a pitch to Napoli, Peavy's arm appeared to snap violently during his follow through of the pitch. Peavy grabbed his arm and you could tell the guy was in pain. No official reports from the Sox, but they took him down the tunnel, and haven't heard anything since.
Bad news for not only fantasy, but my beloved Sox, who've been on a helluva roll lately.
Goodnight Ladies! GOODNIGHT SIR!!! Hit the lights sweetheart!
It didn't look good. He threw a pitch, and he immediately headed off the mound. It wasn't like Ozzie and the trainer went out and determined something was wrong -- even he knew he couldn't throw another pitch tonight, and he knew it right away.
Jake Peavy was diagnosed with a strained right latissimus dorsi muscle.
Peavy was forced to leave Tuesday's game in the second inning due to the injury. He will be re-evaluated Wednesday. If Peavy is unable to make his next start against the Royals this weekend, it's possible that Daniel Hudson could be called up from the minors to take his place in the rotation.

My only reaction is...really...that's it?
Good news, I'm just very surprised that they're even talking about him making his next start after that exit.
That's almost the season, and he's not likely to be at 100% at first, anyway. You may want to wait for something more official, but he's looking like a drop.
