In my main league (12 team roto) I've made three trades and broke even I'd say:
- Traded away Choo for Kershaw on March 27 (even until now, but I'm looking good to win that deal now)
- Traded away Garland for Furcal coming off the DL on May 17 (couldn't have worked out any better)
- Traded away Gallardo for Victorino on May 19 (I've gotten killed on that deal so far, but there's still time)

Cain 5-4 2.11ERA 1.00WHIP

Strange. still felix hernandez. i think jon Garland had an ERA and whip similar to Cain's but I doubt anyone would trade Felix for Garland..
I guess you don't really need to expain for the other fella since you got the better of the deal.. but who offered the trade?

To answer your question that's why you send offers. I tried to get Lester earlier for Cain/Billingsley when he was struggling. Was always looking to ship Cain for someone who was under-performing, it finally paid off. Cain's a good pitcher but not elite.

yeah.. I just don't see it. anyone that would trade Felix Hernandez for matt cain in my keeper league would immediately be laughed out of our league. or at least everyone would assume that there was some under the table money involved. Felix is a 24-year old 2nd rd pick. capable of 220+ k's a year. Matt Cain is not even in the same discussion.
I guess I'm not berating you for making an outlandish offer... just berating anyone that would accept it.

Just recently in a 12-team roto redraft I gave Shin-Soo Choo and Scott Baker and received Jon Lester and Rajai Davis. Davis hasn't been playing but with Choo going down for a long period of time about a week after i made the trade I made away with this deal!

just to give my input on the main topic in this thread, and I know its done with
but as a Heyward owner in a keeper league, I wouldnt take any pitcher for him not named Strasburg (who I already have)

I'll just say wow.
It is becoming extremely evident to me that I will never get Heyward on my team, and I'm completely fine with that.
