ARLINGTON -- Matt LaPorta was pulled from Monday night's game in the fourth inning with a head contusion, an inning after he was involved in a collision at first base with Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus.
LaPorta fell hard to the ground and was motionless for several seconds after Andrus' elbow appeared to strike him in the back of the head as Andrus crossed first.

pretty sure he was out for about 5 seconds, but he talked his way into staying in to play D. He ended up being lifted for a PH when his turn came up

Rats, and he hasn't played since. Right after I picked him up for Pence. There's a fair chance he won't play again until after the ASB.
