What, if anything, will the Bosox do now? I heard somewhere they had been talking to the Mets about a Hilenbrand/Benitez deal. Are they looking around for a closer? If not a closer, are they looking for anything? Will Hilenbrand get traded before opening day?

Definitely not before opening day. If at all, it might happen after the all star break. I can't see them trying to get a designated "closer" for him either. They need another proven starter to get into the rotation (or to get old man Burkett out). I think they might go that route. I guess we just wait and see...

I've also heard of Hillenbrand for Lowell trade sometime around the break. He wont be traded before the season. But i dont see him in beantown at the end of the year.

As I put in the Hillenbrand string the newest rumor (out of Chicago) is Hillenbrand for Juan Cruz...eek! I'd much rather get Benitez in a one-for-one, although salary is an issue.

Hillenbrand for Kim and then the other moves has the Sox right there in the AL.
