BIG Keeper trade, PLEASE help

Postby smackarito » Fri Jul 02, 2010 11:48 pm

I trade Matt Kemp, Ian Stewart, Ryan Zimmerman and Zack Greinke for A-Rod, Matt Holliday and Jake Peavy... I like the trade, though the Greinke part is tough, but I really think it makes me better in the long run... any feedback???

add your roster please

right now i say NO deal. Kemp is due to bounce back. Zimmerman is just slightly less than AROD. Peavy is down grade from Grienke (shocking, i know). Holliday is due for a big 2nd half, though

I think I would do this deal. You upgrade at 3B, Holliday isn't that far off from Kemp assuming that Kemp can have a better second half and Grienke is ok but plays for a bad team that plays bad defense which will only hurt Grienke.

I say no as well. Kemp will bounce back and, depending on the rest of your team, will be an instant keeper for next year. I like Greinke depite the team he plays for and Zimmerman isn't that big a drop-off and alot younger then ARod.
