Pickup AJ Burnett? Drop who?.........WHIR

It looks like you don't need Ortiz at all so I would drop him actually. But if you want to drop a pitcher..... Scherzer would probably be the one to drop. Both would be a suitable drop to get Burnett. I would go the Ortiz route first.

Scherzer seems like the most obvious choice to me. I would rather have Burnett over him.

except for one start, Scherzer put up quality outings every time since returning from AAA.......you think he's droppable for Burnett?

plus, i'm going to have to make room, once DeLa Rosa returns too.


I'd definitely try to trade Ortiz before ever dropping him.
