We seriously did a little contest, a buddy of mine and myself. Now, he's far more outgoing, definitely fits into the bar scene better than I do, so I thought he had an unfair advantage out of the gate. He took his ring off, I kept mine on. Tally at the end of the night, 4-1, me. Granted, that one chick he had hit on him kept him talking for a while, but I'm saying I "won"...

Think so? I've heard and read that it's more instinctual (is that a word?) Than that. Like they see the ring and maternal instinct kicks in. Not that any of these girls are looking for a commitment or a provider, but it made sense. Might be that it's more taboo than anything else.
