Would you guys give up Ryan Howard and BJ Upton to acquire Albert Pujols?
I am thinking I would as Pujols will always have his numbers and probably have a monster 2nd half. Howard hits the long ball with a good amount of rbis, but is very streaky and Upton is batting like .250 and is my 5th outfielder.
Let me know what you think. I appreciate any advise.

It would depend on who else you have in your OF. You said he is your 5th OF, is that how many you start? Who is available in the FA pool?
Those questions aside, I would do it. Pujols is having an average half for him. And the fact that we say that just shows how great a player he is. So, I would expect him to have a pretty good second half. Howard does have a great lineup, but Pujol's line up isn't anything to laugh at either.
I won't ramble any more, I will just say that yes, I would do it.

Let me reiterate... I would be giving up Ryan Howard and BJ Upton to get Pujols.
My Starting OF:
Josh Hamilton
Andrew McCuthceon
Brennan Boesch
-- Would you do it? Garret Jones, Jose Guillen and a couple other avg OF's are available on waiver.

Take it and run. Your other OF are far better than Upton at this point.

i'd keep what you have. howard is a beast in the 2nd half so i'd focus on upgrading elsewhere.

I'd do it...Howard might have power numbers, but he strikes out a ton, and Pujols will hit for average as well as power. also, your outfield will be fine without upton.
