There's actually been a new twist to this situation (not that anybody really cares
In my emails back and forth with Yahoo Fantasy Baseball support, they are now saying that the stat correction WAS
run correctly in the 6/20 overnight stat corrections, and WAS
applied to the most recently completed H2H matchups.
Interesting, because when I looked Monday night, there was no correction for this particular stat error.
*Also, contrary to what they've said several times in emails, there was NOT a change in the "most recently completed" H2H matchup like they stated, as would have been the case had this stat correction actually been run in the 6/20 overnight fix.
I even went back through the week, tallying up all the earned runs and innings pitched to see if the stat correction (which was a -1 ER) was actually impletmented into the weekly ERA and H2H matchup.... It was not.
Of course when I point all this out and lay the math down for them to show IT WAS NOT
in fact applied to the H2H matchup as they say it was, I get no response.
Lost cause I guess....but I definitely see this type of situation rearing it's ugly head again unless there's something put in place to fix it.
So on the bright side I am no longer getting automated responses that tell me nothing.
On the downside, I'm now being told things were scored correctly when they really weren't.
