True, but there are plenty of lawyers willing to take cases and gamble their pay that they win. Meaning a lawyer would be happy to take this case, defend the website, counter-sue for court costs, and then take his/her fees out of that judgement when he/she wins. Happens all the time. I doubt the Pork Board is crazy enough to follow through with the lawsuit, the original letter was probably just to show they did try to protect their trademark because if they don't at least "attempt" to protect their trademark, it is no longer theirs.
So has PETA filed any motions to protect the poor unicorns that are being bred simply for their meat yet?
