I am dead last in wins, ERA and Whip. I think I can get Phil Hughes if I give Curtis Granderson. Am I giving too much?
He also has Grienke. Would Granderson and Pierre for Grienke be unrealistic?

No way...granderson is has too much upside....Hughs is great but he is not going to win 20 games...they will start to rest their pitching staff too, like last year. Yanks beleive in keeping the arms fresh for down the stretch. Now Greike is interesting straight up (no need to add pierre)....bad luck pitcher in my mind, a true ace, gives you stats across the board..totally fair deal...still, i would have to pass. Try to go after some buy low guys like Haren. Might not have to give up much to get him. Thants what i'm doing. Also, pick up that kid on TB...Hellickson...he is going to be an ace in a month.
My recommendation: Your hitting looks fine--and you have 4 bona fide first rounders there. Trade one of your big bats like Utley or Kemp for a top 5 guy like Wainwright, Carpenter, Josh Johnson, or even a CC Sabathia, and pick up a stud Middle Reliever to help you in the ratio categories. Interesting idea, and I've been working on something along those lines with a potential David Wright/Kevin Gregg for Cliff Lee/Jose Reyes deal, with a guy who covets Wright and is looking for Saves, too.
Please give me your opinions: We keep four in this league. This year, that was Braun, Kemp, Wright and Utley for me. If I were to move one of them, who should go?

I think I might consider moving Utley or Kemp. Braun is a beast and Wright looks like he may be back to his 30-30 ways. Utley is the oldest, has the most injury questions and may be in the at the end of his prime, whereas the other three are just entering it. I realize there may be alot of good arguments against this, but thats just my opinion.
Onto your granderson question. I am struggling with the same issue in my league with Granderson. I am thinking about targeting someone like a tommy Hanson with Granderson first.
phil hughes is just going through a phase at the moment.. a good one, but one that wont last a while. Granderson is a great hitter, but is inconsistent.. but when hes on fire hes on fire.. its a tough call.
(im going to reread through the post and see what else is here)
i would drop kemp, out of everyone you have, hes the bottom of the barrel.
Imho, you'll never get a Grienke for Granderson straight up. Maybe I'm in the minority but I'm not a big fan of Granderson to begin with. Sure with his upside you may get 20/20 out of him even with his attrocious start this year, but his BA will kill you. Is just being in the Yankee linup enough to like him? Hughes is pitching well. If you can get Hughes for Granderson straight up I'd make the deal.
