Hello Board: Haren/Heyward vs Kinsler/Slowey

Postby petert » Tue Jun 22, 2010 9:49 am

i get Haren/Heyward

do you like this?

My pitching is really bad this year....i figured on a good buy low on haren and on Hayward.

kinsler has been one of my favorite players thorughout the years but he is really disappointing in 2010.

thoughts on this?

I can pick up Keppinger in the free agents to take his place.

respond with your link and i will add my thoughts too...

Lawdy yes, make that deal for certain. You get the two players with the biggest upside in the trade.

Can you help me with this Granderson for SP deal?

Unless your league is some wacky format, I like this move for you. There is a lot of upside in this trade and you aren't giving up too much at all.

Slowey isn't much to give up, but Kinsler is. If you're in a keeper league, you'll have to decide if it's worth giving up Kinsler at a weak 2B position for Heyward. Kinsler is hurt like he usually is, so owning him is to expect a DL stint, but when healthy and playing, he's elite. I'f you're going for this year only...sure, make the deal. And Haren is a clear upgrade over Slowey in an format, at any time.
Btw, thanks for helping me out.

I think I would definitely take this trade too, even with Marcum. You'll get an upgrade with Haren and a big upside with Heyward, while Kinsler has disappointed.
