What two batters should I stash on my bench? WHIR

Postby waltb87 » Sat Jun 19, 2010 2:21 pm

I currently have Lance Berkman and Aaron Hill on my bench right now, but there are a few bigger names that are still floating around on the waiver wire, so who should I keep on my roster, the two I still have or should I drop one for one of the players on the WW, and here are some of the ones I am wondering about:

-David Ortiz, Derrek Lee, Michael Bourn, Chone Figgins, Adam Lind, Marco Scutaro, Miguel Montero, Juan Pierre

Which two (if any) should I pick up and who should I drop?

Here is my roster:

Team B - ESPN FBaseball - Standard stats, Rotisserie, 10 teams

C- Victor Martinez
1B- Albert Pujols
2B- Dan Uggla
3B - Kevin Youkilis
SS- Alexei Ramirez
OF - Matt Holliday , Jayson Werth, Adam Jones, Carl Crawford, Sean Rodriguez
UTIL - Ryan Howard, Michael Young

SP - Chris Carpenter, Javy Vazquez, John Lackey, Jake Peavy, Zack Greinke, John Danks, Scott Kazmir, Fausto Carmona
RP - Andrew Bailey, Brian Fuentes
BN - Lance Berkman, Aaron Hill
DL - Huston Street

As always, WHIR, just post your link, and thanks

call me crazy but i like Ortiz and Lee better then Berkman... Lee will start to hit better soon... and I like Chone Figgins better then Hill.... he's starting to hit and he's got speed and he's back in his 2nd spot in the batting order...

I like Bourn, not to start over Rodriguez, but Sean Rodriguez should not be in anyone's starting OF. Use him or Uggla as a trade chip so that Rodriguez can start at the harder to fill 2b.

Ortiz may be better than Lee or Berkman, but not compared to Michael Young or Ryan Howard, and will not start on this team. Keep a potential backup at more positions over someone who will not start but can only backup at UT.
