12 team points keeper league where pitchers earn about as much as hitters... we keep 11 next year
I have a loaded lineup and I'm in first 9-1 right now. This is an ESPN league w/ weekly lineups... 8 GS limit w/ the ability to go over on Sunday w/ no penalty
I have this offer on the table from another (rebuilding) owner
Pujols/Romero/Anderson for JUpton, Hanson and Bailey
Thoughts? Am I getting enough back for this year... do I do well enough in the future. I guess it comes down to Romero and Anderson... are they for real (when healthy)?
my current lineup is
c vmart
1b pujols
2b utley
SS hanley
3B zimmerman
INF A Gonzo
LF Choo
CF Pagan
RF Ichiro
OF Rajai davis
Util Morneau
Hawpe and Callaspo on the bench
P Simon
SP Romero
SP Wainwright
SP Gallardo
SP Richard
RP Wagner
RP Soria
RP Dotel
RP Corpas
bench pitchers, Street, Brett Anderson, Billingsley, Thorton, Dempster, Vargas, Floyd
This trade would let me bench Rajai Davis or Pagan depending on how they're hitting... I'd cut Simon and slot Bailey in there and then use Hanson to slot in Romero's spot. I would probably cut or deal Thorton for another SP
Any help is appreciated... WHIR.
Bob

Not nearly enough in return for Pujols. You can do better if you really want to move him but I don't see why you would.

Your side is more valuable. Upton, Hanson and Bailey are all very young and have great upside, but you may be underestimating who you are giving up. Obviously Pujols is great, but Romero is having a very good season and Anderson has been very good when he's not on the DL. Stick with what you have.
Who are the top 3 keepers in the sport?
