Broken wrist, out 6-8 weeks, plus that time when a player with a recovering wrist sucks it up for a few weeks/months. GAH
Via Rotoworld: According to Tracy Ringolsby, Troy Tulowitzki was found to have a broken left wrist upon being reexamined Friday and will miss 6-8 weeks.
A huge blow to the Rockies' hopes. The team will go with Clint Barmes as the everyday shortstop for now. Chris Nelson is being called up to battle Melvin Mora and Jonathan Herrera for time at second base. Eric Young Jr. appears to be at least a few weeks away, so someone from that group will have some short-term fantasy value. Nelson, who was hitting .311/.384/.508 in Triple-A, is worth taking a chance on.
