Offered King Felix, Matusz for my Tommy Hanson, Phil Hughes
I am quite high on both Hanson and Hughes and realize that I'd have to probably give up some solid SP if I wanted King Felix. However, I feel that this league, SP have a great amount of value and would benefit from having a more balanced staff. Would you try and replace Hughes with Romero? Or do you think I should try and trade some of my SP for offense instead? Keeper league which keeps 12. No restrictions. As you can probably tell, I'm going for youth.

I think you hold onto Hanson and Hughes. Felix is nice, but not a big upgrade over Hanson. I wouldn't fall in love with Matusz's recent starts. He still struggles through the middle innings and that's not good since you count QS and IP. Looking at your roster, it seems like a pretty deep league. There must be more you can get for two studs like Hanson and Hughes.
I was thinking along the same lines. If the offer changed to Hanson and Romero for Felix and Matusz, I would be a bit more tempted. I worry more about Romero than I do about Hughes. The team that offered the trade also has Colby Rasmus. If the deal changed to Hanson, Hughes/Romero, piece for Felix and Rasmus, would you consider it. At this moment, my biggest hopes is that Happ comes back soon and does well. There is an owner who is willing to trade me Bruce for Stubbs and Happ.
I like your pitching and see no reason to do this trade. Hanson is every bit as solid of a keeper as Felix. Like you said, I would focus on improving your lineup.

I live in Seattle, I love Felix. Even so, I wouldn't do it. Felix = Hanson as far as I have seen. Hold onto Tommy. As for Rasmus...meh. Yes, you need some OF help, but I don't love Rasmus enough for this deal.
Good to see some love for Hanson. The guys in my league don't seem to value him all that highly so I've definitely gotten some shitty trades for him. I think I will hold pat for the time being, and maybe Delmon Young will continue to decide that he wants to utilize his baseball talents. He could end up being my borderline 12th keeper.
