Aaron Hill for Jay Bruce. Keeper. WHIR

The situation:
I'm in 4rd place, but 1st and 2nd are much better teams and they are running away with it. I feel like a lot of my success is built on serviceable, but not keepable players, so I'm thinking of selling early and crossing my fingers that the WW might keep me in it. I already made a trade to these ends, acquiring Ian Kinsler and K-Rod for Josh Willingham and Scott Baker +, so I'm committed to this strategy (and punting saves).

I've been offered Jay Bruce for my Aaron Hill. With Kinsler in tow, i feel like it makes sense both in the here and now and in the future as I feel that Bruce is probably the better keeper. Still, Bruce has a lot of question marks and even though this is a 14 team league, we only start 3 OF so OF is fairly deep.

I would definitely do that. I traded Bruce and a couple of crappy players for Mark Teixera in my keeper league, and that went down before the season. Bruce is the real deal and will continue to get better, he's a great keeper, especially in leagues that let you keep a lot of players. I made the move for Teix only to make a run at the championship.

I would definitely do that deal. You are getting the better keeper and Hill has had power this year but his average is horrid. I think he improves over the second half but I don't see an average above 0.250. Grab the keeper; he'll do just as good as Hill over the rest of the year.
