This. And younger voters are going to think of him as a third basemen rather than a short stop. He has been playing 3B for the past seven seasons...it's tough to not think of him that way now. I didn't see a whole lot of him at SS myself.

He should win either SS or 3B. If you consider what he has done at each position separately in terms of production he's probably the best SS ever and in the top 5 at 3B. Pretty ridiculous.

Plus this is a vote for your favorite players. Not just the best ones.

Right.

I've seen A-Rod playin short, and he is the guy in my sig, still theres no way that he is in my top 5.
And its not because I hate the Yankees either. I voted Jeter, and he is on the Yankees too.
So there must be another reason.

Nah Honus Wagner was better. Ole Honus was without a doubt better with the glove, better on the bases, and an arguement can be made Honus was A-rod's equal with the bat (he won 8 batting titles in his career).

how on earth could you possibly know that Honus Wagner was better than Alex Rodriguez with the glove or better on the bases? did you see him play? do you know someone that has seen him play? are you speculating this because you like honus Wagner? :-?

Well, this is a poll of personal favorites, not who the best SS is... and A-Rod is a tool.
