Yeah, that's one of the things I was thinking about. But a fully healthy of for Oakland is Rajai Davis, Coco Crisp, and Ryan Sweeney. I'm not sure CoJax couldn't take as much time from those 3 as he would from Carter, if the callup came. But I haven't been following Oakland very closely, so I'm not very confident about that.

I'm guessing this confirms that Carter will be up in September at the earliest.
Also, it is clearly the move of a contender.

We are 26th in runs scored and 22nd in OBP, so this is the correct move.
