Yeah, that's one of the things I was thinking about. But a fully healthy of for Oakland is Rajai Davis, Coco Crisp, and Ryan Sweeney. I'm not sure CoJax couldn't take as much time from those 3 as he would from Carter, if the callup came. But I haven't been following Oakland very closely, so I'm not very confident about that.

Typical bat OAK seems to always target. No power at all, decent contact decent k/bb type player... so basicaly a util 4th OF type. Just what OAK doesn't need more of. He's a Daric Barton replica...

9 Daric Bartons = the highest team OPS in the major leagues. Once Coco comes back there won't be a lot of room for him, but he'll get his ABs. It's not like Ryan Sweeney and Eric Patterson are worldbeaters.

A good deal for both sides. A's could always use some bats. And the D'Backs get some future help in the bullpen, which has been TERRIBLE for them all season
