Overall asking questions and then building on that in a nonconfrontational or aggressive manner and setting would be a good place to start.
Money Prediction: you've got to be a guidance counselor of some kind!

Happy Days - that was cut and pasted right out of the manual! Won't work though. 1 - because he is a douche. 2 - because we are the same rank. He won't have time for that. At best, he will politely listen. Then cuss-grumble me as he walks off. I'm gonna wing it today and take a positive attitude into it, but lay the law down. This shizzle is gonna stop.
another good idea is to ask him to repeat himself...nothing is more annoying than someone saying "huh?" or "can you repeat that?" after you say something...also if he gets upset it's another opportunity for the calm down tactic
I was gonna say FU man chu to Mookie, but that was hurtful, Art.
Has anyone advised you just to calm down? It's not a big deal.
Oh, I am calm now. But make no mistake. It is a big deal. Imagine if your subordinates were constantly talking poorly about you, your boss, the mission. Then imagine they were doing it in front of everyone else. Not only does it undermine the operation, it makes everyone else miserable who are simply trying to do their job and perform their best in support of the unit goals.
I don't know - if you think it isn't a big deal, maybe I didn't paint the picture well enough. If you were talking about me being from Jersey - no. I took that as a joke and that isn't a big deal. Though Jersey does suck.
Anyway, I got stuck in meetings all day (and prepping for them), so I didn't get to talk to Focker. Once I do, I'll report back.
