A-Gone/Stanton for Lincecum/Torres? Feedback help.

Postby ECG77 » Fri Jun 11, 2010 7:17 pm

I need a dramatic boost in ERA, SOs, SBs, and Runs. I've had injured and slumping speedsters and some bad pitching. Lost my SO numbers when De La Rosa went on the DL. I have a big offer on the table.

Adrian Gonzalez and Jon Garland
for
Tim Lincecum and Andres Torres

I have plenty of power in my lineup. Thought I try to get two birds with one stone. Lincecum and Torres can get me more of the catergories I need. I hate to give up Gonzo but I don't know whether he will get traded or not. Being on an N.L. only league and he gets traded to an A.L. team would be a hard it.

I'm going to say yes. You still have an elite power hitting 1b, and this helps your team needs.

Can you weasle for some FAAB back, too? The Torres snag is smart, but it's not like 32-yr-old rookies magically become this overnight. Anything that prepares for the potential FA needs later now is hedging the old bets.

I'd Accept that in heartbeat, especially when you still have Pujols.
