Who should I add for this Saturday John Ely or Javier Vazquez? I've had Ely for two starts before and he did well in one but then he put up -2 last time out. Who's the better pitcher, as well as in the long run? Can Vazquez pick it back up or can Ely continue to do well?

Its hard to argue against What Ely has done so far. But Vasquez is at home against the lowly Astros.
I like Vasquez to get a good amount of K's and a win as well.
Ely, meanwhile, is pitching against the stout lineup of the Angel's.
I'll take Vasquez in this one.
Please see mine.

Yeah I like what Ely is doing so far. But is Vazquez somebody to keep for future starts over keeping Ely. I want to keep one or the other. Vazquez is projected almost 600 points in my H2H league..

In the long run (meaning the rest of this year), I like Vasquez. Ely is pitching great, no doubt about it. But as teams start to see him a second time around, dont expect ace numbers from him. Vasquez can miss bats. The jury is still out on Ely to be able to do the same. Ely has very "average" stuff. Right now Ely is enjoying the fact that teams dont know him

I think i'm gonna drop Billingsley and add Ely for tomorrow. I already added Vazquez earlier. I can pick Billingsley back up or keep Ely..

Actually, that could be bad because Billingsley got knocked around tonight against the Angels..whose to say Ely wont? I cant afford another bad outing. I guess ill stick with Vazquez's favorable matchup.

Vasquez may be good for the weekend matchup, but Vasquez was bad the last time he was in NY and now that it's more hitter friendly he is showing he is a bad investment, I see him mainly as a NL pitcher in his career.
help with mine?
