Personally, I would only consider the imperial stout. As Dan said, it's strong and quite complex, but if you love your beer to have that dark chocolate/coffee taste (as well as a subtle touch of oak and dark fruit notes), the imperial stout is the way to go. FWIW, imperial stouts usually rank high on Beer Advocate and most justify the ranking.

Personally, I don't drink coffee nor like the taste too much, but I like a really good imperial stout. An exceptional imperial stout is one that can balance a high ABV content and disguise the alcoholic mouthfeel/taste so it doesn't overpower the subtle notes and the chocolate/coffee flavor. Give it a try and see if it's to your liking.
I love a stout and was of the opinion that any stout is second to a Guiness so why drink a stout when you can have a Guiness? A few months ago though I had some stout from a local micro on tap and quite liked it - I had Mill Street Stout and was quite impressed. So now I'm all for trying new stouts.

You wouldn't even consider a couple of the others?

Well, there's stouts and Belgian Trappist ales, and then there's everything else.
Honestly, I didn't read through the other options and I just said stout for sure because that's what I love best. I like a really good IPA every now and then, as well as a proper bitter.
Stout. Stouts definitely sit atop my personal beer hierarchy. Plus they put hair on your chest. Here's a recent pic of me after finishing off my keg of stout last weekend:
