Sinking fast, what moves should I make? WHIR

Postby dubstar » Fri Jun 11, 2010 8:55 am

After the first few weeks I was leading my division. After this week it's going to be 6 losing weeks in a row, some of them pretty bad(10-1, 8-2). My current roster is somewhat of a shell of how it started: I have lost/dumped Sizemore Quentin, D Lee, Cruz. And under performance is killing me also Fielder, Sandoval, Pedroia(lately). My pitching has been up and down with Greinke and Baker especially. What should I look to do?

Should I put Greinke on the block and see what I can get? I think I may be able to move him and S Drew for Tulo, but that leaves my pitching looking weak. Ely has been good for me, but he is now being skipped and I'm afraid his control issues are going to come back.

Here are the top FA hitters and pitchers. What moves should I try to make? And should I try to move Greinke?

Pagan, Bourn, Ross, Pence, A Torres, Stubbs, Boesch, Kubel

Cahill, I Kennedy, Saunders, Corpas, Axford, Jenks

10 team h2h keeper: avg., hr, rbi, r, sb, xbh
era, w, sv, k, whip, qs

C Barajas
1B Fielder
2B Pedroia
3B Sandoval
SS Drew
OF Kemp, Hart, Swisher
UTIL Glaus
BN Stanton, R Davis
DL Cruz

SP Greinke, Kershaw, Billingsley, Baker, Romero, Liriano, Ely
RP Soria, Cordero, Dotel
DL Street

Pence and Ian Kennedy are the names that jump out to me who may be able to help you. I think hitters are going to catch up with Ely. I would dump him for Kennedy, or see if anyone is high on him because you may be able to trade him for something.

I don't think trading Grienke is a good idea. his value is pretty low and you would be getting .50 cents on the dollar. JMO
