Sell Ellsbury now? For Tex? WHIR 100%

Postby LARS929 » Fri Jun 11, 2010 2:46 am

I am currently in second place of my league and have been in trade talks with a guy who is near last about Ellsbury for Tex. Here is his current offer should I do it?

I give: Ellsbury, Gallardo, Loney
I get: Teixera, Hamels, F. Cordero

10 team league, h2h with normal 5x5 stats plus OBP, doubles, QS, k/9. Also is a keeper league where we keep 8 players.

My team:
C. V-mart
1b: Pujols
2b: Cano
SS: Tulowitski
3b: Sandoval
MI: Alexei Ramirez
CI: Loney
OF: Carlos Lee
OF: C. Young
OF: Pence
OF: R. Davis
Util: Carl Crawford
Bench: Smoak
DL: Ellsbury
DL: Brian Roberts
SP: Lincecum, Hanson, Gallardo, Dempster, Slowey, J. Garcia, Scherzer, Medlen, Myers
RP: Bell, Nunez, Axford

So with this trade my keepers would be Pujols, Tulo, Cano, Tex, Crawford, Sandoval, Lincecum, Hanson

Good lord, yes. I would do that without thinking twice. Stop reading right now and make that deal.

Then come back and help me with this one:

I would do that trade. Ellsbury has another broken rib, he won't give you anything for at least a month.

Yes! Ellsbury will be pretty useless for the rest of this year.......You have Crawford and Davis for steals long-term.....Do it!

That fantasy players think Ellsbury is any differnent from half a dozen other speedy OF is one of my 3 least favorite aspects of the Boston Red Sox.

The other 2? I'm glad you asked: the phrase "Red Sox Nation" (if that's true, I propose somewhere in the mid pacific) and pink Red Sox hats.

Wait? Why am I still talking? I should be congratulating you on your new 1B.
