Olivio, A Jackson, and Silvia for Greinke and Dotel?

Postby beagle » Thu Jun 10, 2010 9:57 pm

This is a VERY deep leage, and nothing on Waivers. I have Milliege and Fukudome in the OF. Fukudome is losing a ton of time and Millege has done nothing. I have Wieters at catcher and he is doing nothing for me. Silvia is killing, and Greinke is doing nothing. I am losing saves which are very hard to come by, but it seems I getting all the hot players for Greinke's name. I am doing ok, but I am last in OBP and Steals, but doing great in Power numbers. Doing well in Saves, but lacking in Wins.

Does the deal seem like a good one if I am getting Ajax/Olivio/Silvia?

Thank you for taking the time to help me out.

I like that deal. Greinke is doing poorly and Dotel is just an average closer at best, IMO.

Olivo is doing well but probably will slip some, Ajax is rook but seems to keep on hitting so I like him and Silva has rediscovered himself and is lights out. It gives you a bit of depth which is nice. Id lean towards doing this trade.

help plz

No way. Greinke is by far the best player in the deal, despite his slow start. You aren't getting anywhere near value for him. Big time pass.

I would pass on this deal. Dotel has been lights out since May and is a legit closer. More importantly you would be selling very low on Greinke for a bunch of guys that are hot right now. 3 weeks ago Greinke should have brought back an elite player in return, so why trade him now for a hot rookie or a pitcher who has been strong this year, but noone really believes in (at least I don't)

It did seem like I was selling low and buying high, but the thoughts of improving Weiters and Jackson for great depth made me think hard. Thank you all for the help. ;-D
