12 team roto league was offered prince fielder for my gardner, lind and aaron hill, is that too much to give up for a guy struggling at the plate right now?

Nah, its not too much, Hill and Lind are struggling big time in their own right. Gardner is decent, but none of those guys touch the potential of Prince. I'd do this, and just add some nice players off the wire

Lind and Hill could possibly be one year wonders. Price is a stud. Gardner is a nice player, but I'd do the Prince side of this deal. I honestly dont think you're giving up a whole lot here

Lind has more rbis than fielder, hill has almost as many hrs in half the games, and gardner looks like a breakout star, so how is this a slam dunk?

Noone said it was a slam dunk, it's just, you're getting a potential top 10 guy in exchange for 2 big-time slumpers and a decent OF in Gardner...even if Lind and Hill turn it aorund (which is seeming less and less likely by the day), they will not touch the potential of Prince. Prince will get it going at some point, once Braun and the rest of that lineup pick it up. He'll be fine
