Perhaps. I'm not as quick to stick a fork in him, I still think he's got more left in the tank then you give him credit for, but I suppose that remains to be seen.

I wouldn't put a fork in him either. But, given his age, recent health issues, and statistical trendlines, it seems hard to dispute that he's entered a new phase in his career. He's still a very productive player, but now his statistical peers are guys like Youkilis, not guys like Miguel Cabrera.
