Am I giving up too much for Kemp? WHIR as always.

H2H 10 team points league, we keep 6 at no penalty. My goal as always is to win this year, but more importantly, have the best 6 keepers I can wrangle up. I am currently clinging to the last playoff spot with a .500 record.

I've been offered Kemp, Latos, Zito, Bedard for Nolasco, Vasquez, Rollins, Posada.

Thoughts?

My projected keepers if I accept: A-Rod, Fielder, Crawford, Kemp, Votto, Greinke

My team:
C- Posey
1 - Fielder
2 - Phillips
3 - A-Rod
SS - Andrus
OF - Crawford, Werth, Lee
DH - Votto
SP - Greinke, Cain, Hamels, Oswalt, Shields
RP - Wilson

Bench:
IR - Rollins
C - Posada
OF - Stanton
SP - Nolasco, Danks, Vasquez, Sheets, Zambrano, Carmona

Kemp is amazing but you're giving up a top SS for next year. Both Rollins and Kemp are obvious keepers in this format. I'd try to revise the trade because Rollins is undervalued in the trade because (when healthy) he is one of the best SS (weak position).

If you can get better pitching in return then I'd do it. Overall, it's not that bad though because you're trading mostly bench players.

I think I'd pass honestly. Kemp's struggling this year and while he'll pick it back up, I don't know if he'll return to 2009 levels. Latos and the rest are throw-ins while you're giving up too many productive pieces. Decline.

Thanks, WHIRs replied to.

I dshould also mention, this is a 2 point per steal league, so speed is a larger component than in some other points leagues.

I would absolutely do that trade. Here's how it breaks down:
Kemp >> Rollins
Latos = Nolasco
Zito > Vazquez
Bedard < Posada

Furthermore, you have a perfectly serviceable SS in Andrus (and in the 2 pts/steal even more so), Kemp fills out your OF and allows you bench Lee, and you actually gain overall at SP while losing a bench C. I see no reason not to do this trade...

I would do the trade because I think going forward Kemp will have more value than Rollins. It also doesn't hurt that Andrus is on your team and there is two points for steals.
