In the Yanks, Sox game today A-rod was hit in the face by a deflected ball. He had to leave the game but it didn't seem very serious, I don't think he'll miss any time. Besides from below the eye until the end of the chin is probably the least important part of the body to baseball with

Doesn't say how serious it is...
Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Ha, I'm watching the game and never thought to write about it here, I should know better. Strangest play in the world, hard throw from Matsui deflects off Daubachs foot and lines A-Rod in the face-so strange. Jerry Remy said a half hour ago or so that the X-rays were negative and theres no fracture but thats all so far. I get the feeling from the way they were talking that it's no problem at all except maybe a bruise but that can change quickly.

I was listening to the radio in the car and John Sterling said that it wasn't serious at all. Probably just a bruise.
I have A-rod 1 of my three teams. (the one that I pay most attention too) and having him out would really suck!
This is good news that it doesn't appear to be serious!

Not that this means ANYTHING, but last year he was hit in the face with a ball while stealing second base.
If memory serves me correctly, that was right about the time where he blew up like no other player last year (yes even Pujols). Just look at his game log, starting around August. That month was one of the sickest I've ever seen.

Getting hitting in the face changes your approach to batting for the next few (weeks?) and in some cases months. Whether it'll help him or hurt him is the question.
The key to Fantasy Sports is NOT about Sports but rather the "manipulation of numbers" in your favor
