Heyward for Haren? WHIR AS ALWAYS 100%

Postby jdip5 » Wed Jun 09, 2010 3:46 pm

In need of pitching, and someone just put Dan Haren on the trading block. I have a surplus of outfielders, so im thinkin of offering heyward for Haren in a deal. Is that enough? What is a good deal to offer for Haren? WHIR AS ALWAYS!!

I don't know if Heyward for Haren is enough - personally I like Haren but there is a ton of rumbling about his second half splits being awful. If the owner is buying into that he might take it. If not I would try to sell high on rasmusor garcia. Garcia has been pretty lucky (BABIP) and should regress he is also under a pitch count, plus rasmus' avg should lower as he Ks a lot and his BABIP is high as well.

thanks for the help on mine

I agree, Haren's 2nd half numbers are not too special, and it's nearly the all-star break already. (kinda) Looking at your OF, it is very nice yet how long will Jose Bautista keep it up? My guess is not a whole lot longer, so then you'd be down 2 OF's. I'd stick with Heyward unless you'd get a decent OF involved in the trade as well.

Not a fan of Haren especially with his second half splits. See who you can get for Bautista. I dont think that he keeps this up while Heyward is legit.

thanks for helping on mine
