I like the value in kemp and wright over arod and cano. Plus Given your team, it would just create more problems. Hold onto your studs HELP WITH MINE? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=414309&p=3285562#p3285562
Bad deal for your team. A-Rod isn't any kind of upgrade over Wright, and Kemp is a more valuable player than Cano (especially since you already have Utley at 2b).
I'd do it. A-Rod is coming into stride, and Cano is a beast. Use Cano in place of Wigginton, then put in Pierre as a replacement for Kemp and "run" your way to a lock in SB and not much of a drop in power.
I think this is taking selling high on Wright, which i like. He has 39 walks vs 70 strikeouts on the season so far. He is still putting up decent numbers but something isnt right with him right now. I would almost lean towards doing this trade.

i like this trade, overwhelmingly. Wright over the last 2 seasons hasn't been 1st round material. we all know his strikeouts are up, this year luckily his HR are up, but will this always be the case? Kemp is a fantasy star. But so is AROD and Cano is the player that tips the scales for me. I love him. I think he'll be an Utley type player in years to come with a better average in a great lineup and ballpark (along with AROD).
Just be sure you're trading for Alex Rodriguez of 2010-2012, not the Alex Rodriguez of 2005-2007. He's now closer to Kevin Youkilis than Albert Pujols in terms of batting, and doesn't steal bases anymore because of leg injuries. Pay special attention to health--A-Rod has missed significant time each of the past two years with injuries and seems to have a different 'minor' one each week--so much that he's getting pulled for a defensive replacement in the late innings 1-2 times per week.
I would do this deal, Kemp is obviously a stud, but Wright isn't what he used to be, and in that park, who knows if he gets back to 30-35 dingers. On the other hand, you get A-rod, who is still an elite 3B, who will easily out produce Wright this year, and you get Cano who has arguably been the AL MVP up to this point. Even though you have Utley, just slide Cano into utility or MI spot. He''s been the best hitter in the AL thus far, better the Utley anyway, so just the presence of Utley shouldn't make you say no.
