Jake Arrieta will be called up by Baltimore tomorrow to make his MLB debut against the Yankees, according to the Baltimore Sun's Dan Connolly.

Our View: Arrieta has pitched very well at Triple-A Norfolk this season, going 6-2 with a 1.85 ERA and 1.12 WHIP over 11 starts. He's struck out 64 batters in 73 innings, though he's also walked 34. He has pretty good stuff and is worth a look in AL-only leagues, though things will not be easy for him in the AL East.

Anyone think this guy is worth taking a flier on after the Yankee start if he stays up?

Nope. Simply said because he pitches in the AL East and has control problems.

grabbed him in my dynasty league and was kind of surprised no one stashed him. if you have room in keepers, dynastys, and deep leagues he's worth a pickup because you never know, but in shallow leagues i'd sit tight. they picked a horrible time to bring him up vs. the yanks but oh well.
