I'm wondering the same thing.

I think it will take at least couple more bad outings from Davis before you here the rumblings. Now if one of the pitchers gets hurt then move fast.

It's only a matter of time, IMO. I tried to pry Hellickson away from his owner in my AL league but he wasn't biting. The kid is lighting it up and Wade Davis has been the weak link in that rotation all year. I can't see why they wouldn't even give him a shot.

The rumblings have already started and I'd be surprised if Hellickson isn't up before the end of June. Take this as you will, but he reminds me quite a bit of Kevin Slowey.

I too am hoping for a Hellickson call-up, sooner rather than later. At this point it's still anyone's guess if or when he's getting that call. The way Jeremy is pitching at AAA though, it will be hard for them to keep him down for too much longer, IMHO.
Wade Davis got the loss on Wednesday, allowing three runs over five innings of work.
Spin:
While he took the loss, it appears Davis has settled down since a rough patch at the end of May. He's now allowed three runs in each of his last two starts (12 innings total) and while that isn't exactly impressive his 12:1 K:BB ratio is. While that's a small sample size the leash has probably gotten shorter with Jeremy Hellickson waiting for a call-up from Triple-A.

I own Hellickson in one league in my minor league spot, but I think Davis is going to have to $hit the bed in at least 2 outings before he gets demoted. It is something to keep an eye on though, and if an injury comes, then pounce..

It has to be only a matter of time.
Given the Rays have now been caught by tha Yanks and Sox I don't think they can afford to wait much longer.
Is it time for a speculative add? Any Rays homers to add some insight?
