Anyone risking his bump in value for weekly formats with his 2-start eligibility for next week 6/14-6/20?
1st Start: @KC against Kyle Davies
2nd Start: Vs.TEX against CJ Wilson
I've had Felipe rostered since my draft in my 18 teamer (seens how there is nothing on the WW, although just snagged LeBlanc, hoping his last start is something of a spark to turn it back around) and since draft day I've been hoping and waiting for him to pan out somewhat, but hasn't really happened yet. But in leagues of this size with a weekly starting format 2-start arms are very valuable. I saw some of his gem against the Cubs, and when hes on he has sick stuff, but I don't know enough about him to know when to get onboard with his rolls.
Although hes been shaky at times this year he hasn't really been THAT bad, its just the Stros suck. Looking at his stats hes given up 2ER or less in 7 games this year, his record in those you ask? He is 1-4 this year in games giving up 2ER or less, thats just insane. If you even want to stretch it a bit, in this day an age giving up 4ER on any given day isn't ALL that bad given the improvements batters have made, so incorporate that into his record; hes given up 4ER or less in 9 of 11 starts this year, in those games again he is 1-5 total, his only 2 'bad' outings came against San Fran and the Cubs where he gave up 7ER and 5ER. Overall if he could get some run support he would be talked about just as much as some of the other SP, given the fact that he also is sporting an 8.2 K/9 mark, his BB have hurt him at times, but overall looking at his stats (outside of the W-L which he can't help when you give up 2ER or less in 7 games and have 1W to show for it) hes actually had a very nice year thus far.

Great thanks to soto for the sweet sig!...
