Keeper League Trade WHIR

I was just offered this following trade in a 14 team H2H keeper league. Its 6x6 with OPS and Holds and we keep 5 players (or 6 if you win).

I get: Billy Butler, Stephen Drew, Dallas Braden

I give: Heath Bell and Ricky Nolasco

SP- Tim Lincecum
SP- Chris Carpenter
RP- Heath Bell
RP- Bobby Jenks
P- John Axford
P- Luke Gregerson
P- Ricky Nolasco
P- CJ Wilson
BN- Livan Hernandez
BN- Jhoulys Chacin
BN- JD Martin (streamer spot)

So what do you guys think? I was thinking about countering with Bell for Butler straight up as I dont really want to part with Nolasco just yet.

Well looking at your team I would assume you kept Phillips, Zimmerman, Sizemore, Lincecum, and Carpenter.

That being said the only one in the trade you are receiving that you would keep is Billy Butler. I would not do the proposed trade but would definitely send a counter for Butler as he is 22-23 yrs old this season and could be extremely valuable in a keeper league.

Maybe you can trade Nolasco/Alexei for Butler/Drew if your other offer of Bell for Butler does fall through.

I would say take the trade. You aren't going to keep Nolasco or Bell, but you would keep Butler. Also Drew is an upgrade at SS, Butler is an upgrade at 1B. I just can't imagine Konerko keeping it up...
