Crosby has been going very late, if at all, in the leagues I've seen, there are a lot more sure-things at SS in a 12 team league, if you really like him, you should be able to grab him in the last couple of rounds.
As for Smoltz, he will definitely be the closer and seems fine.
i live in sacramento, home off A's AAA affiliate, and i never saw anything Crosby do anything that would make me think, "This kid is going to be a star." I think he will hit 15hrs 70rbi and bat 270. That may not be that bad, but I would like more out of my ss.
i wouldnt take crosby at all in a 12 team league. there are 12 better guys out there. but, if you feel like gambling, go right ahead. just for the record he was 0-12 when he came up at the end of last year with 5 strikeouts.....not that that matters a great deal.
