Catcher Help!

Postby maurerscouting » Wed Jun 02, 2010 8:16 pm

I have Matt Wieters but have been greatly dissapointed and think maybe it's time to dump him. The current top catcher free agents are:

Rod Barajas
John Buck
Geovany Soto
Jorge Posada
Nick Suzuki

I'm leaning big time on taking Suzuki but really could you some help. Should I drop Wieters or go through free agency? I currently play in a 10 team head-head league.

I really like Posada. His health is the main issue but I think he will be playing DH for awhile so that may decrease his injury risk alot. He would be my choice.

I like Posada also, but if you are just looking for power. Barejas or Buck.

Thanks for answering mine.

id grab posada as well.

keep an eye on suzuki though. He has been cold since coming back from the DL. if he starts to turn it around think about grabbing him.

Get Posada now.

Buck won't keep it up.

Soto is fat and that Cubs team is belly up already.

If Wieters were on almost any other team, I'd consider keeping him.

Posada would be the only guy Id drop Wieters for. Suzuki would be next, but I wouldnt do that quite yet.

Without a doubt pick up Posada.

However, do you have to drop Wieters? If possible, I'd put Wieters on your bench for now.

Help with mine?
