#1 Waiver on Posada? WHIR

Postby dubstar » Tue Jun 01, 2010 8:16 pm

He was just dropped and I have the #1 waiver. Should I use it? I was planning on using it on a veteran that someone got sick of waiting to come around or whatever, it just worries me that his foot may bother him all year. Barajas has been solid, but will Posada have a stronger finish to the year? There aren't any prospects that I can think of to wait and use it on. The biggest one yet to be called up( and not owned) is C Santana, and I was looking to grab him once he gets called up. Should I try to do that and save my Waiver for something else later in the year?

do not use it on Posada. The Yanks will most likely ease him back because Cervelli has been so impressive. He is also getting up there in age and it could remain a problem for a while. I wouldn't be qualified to talk about young prospects because my keeper league collapsed last year :~(

Yeah I wouldnt waste it on Posada. He has been banged up all year and I don't expect him to be playing everyday especially since he cant field the position anymore.

Ya I would save the waiver too. Posada is old and injury prone.
