I have one open DL spot in my keeper league. Adds are free. Our league is 14 team mixed, 9 hitting and 9 pitching lineup spots. Pitching at more of a premium.
I'm looking at either Dustin McGowan or Josh Outman to stash, for later this season or for next year. They were both fine pitchers who got seriously hurt.
Does anyone have an opinion here? McGowan's injury was much more serious, I believe, but the Jays are IMO a much better team than the A's, although the A's play in a weaker division.

If your willing to wait for next season id roll the dice on McGowan.
He had electric stuff pre-injury and could have been a well above-average starter if he got it all together. Recent news has him playing long toss from 180 feet and feeling good (I know it;s not much, but it's still something!) If you really wanna take a chance on one i'd take McGowan and see how it plays out.
