I've been offered Brian McCann for my Jered Weaver. I'm torn because my current catcher, Soto, has been alright this year, but nothing special. I really like McCann in the middle of that lineup as well. But, Weaver has been a perennial stud for me this year, and I value SP pretty highly. What should I do? Leave a link, I always return the favor!

Soto is benched for today in an effort to shakeup the lineup. I don't know if it will carry over to next game, but if you're worried I'd make the trade.

I agree with valuing SP highly. I would keep Weaver at this time. IMO Your batting can handle a Soto better than your pitching can handle no weaver.

I would hold on to Weaver as well, he probably has the best track record among your starters besides Verlander. I am not sure how deep your free agent pool is, but ive seen guys like Olivo, Barajas, Buck, Cervelli available in 10 and 12 team leagues who could replace Soto if he craps out. Also if your looking for a high upside rookie theres Posey on San Fran and Santanna on Cleveland.

Ya I would hang on to Weaver too.
You have a lot of young guys on your staff doing really well right now (Latos,Pelfrey,Holland etc.) If they keep it up, great, but you need to have a few more sure things like Weaver in case they fall off.
I'd sit tight.
