this was brought up in the Lost thread, but i figured some people may not think to look there for info on WWII miniseries

anyway i'm 7 episodes in (it's On Demand until 6/14) and it's pretty friggen epic. if you liked Band of Brothers (or like war stuff in general) you'll like it

Big fan of BoB when it was originally on. Bought it on blu-ray a few months back and made my wife watch it with me from start to finish. With that said, I was very excited about the Pacific. However, I only made it through 2 episodes before I lost interest. Maybe on a rainy day I'll give the series another viewing.

Just finished watching this, it really picked up in the 2nd half of the series, particularly episodes 6, 7 and 9. I've never actually seen BoB in its entirety, so that will be the next thing on my list.
