Way to go Ollie, they let you finish out the game and you handled the stress magically, giving up less runs than everyone but mejia...minors are fo suckas.
Speaking of minors, I thought mejia was going to get stretched out to get back to being a starter, but he pitched 1 inning today for them...did I get the wrong info?

Another example of Mets Fail. They desperately need starters and their best prospect is in the bullpen as the 6th/7th inning man. Geniuses.

The Mets are 6-16 at Petco Park and Monday night’s humiliating 18-6 loss to the Padres was the Mets 10th loss in their last 12 games at Petco Park. The Mets have never won a series at Petco Park – in fact, they haven’t won a series in San Diego since May 16-19, 2002.
Yup, more than any of their position players in 2010 (except Beltran, but I didn't include him because he hasn't been a meaningful part of the team), including the likes of Bay, Wright, and Reyes
On a side note, does anyone else see that Gary Matthews Jr. is making $11,400,000??? Can that be right? If so, that's almost as big a joke as Perez making $12 Million! I know they didn't offer him that $ (I'm guessing the Angels did?), but why would they pick up an OF with that much baggage to sit on the bench (he's not even a starter and he makes more than Bay), when they already don't have Beltran playing. That's $30 million worth of OF that isn't on the field!!! What a disgrace.
