Dunn is a powerful masher and Haren is historically a great pitcher to begin the season and then takes a dive. This year he hasn't looked that great to begin the year - I think the other guy is trying to get something good for Haren before he totally craps the bed. See if he'll deal for something less if you want a piece of Haren.

i too agree the other owner is trying to sell Haren before the 2nd half, but i think in your case he'll be a welcomed addition to your staff. i'd try to offer a lesser player, but i'd also take the deal as is and hope this year Haren stays in shape

I'd take Haren actually. He's been pretty unlucky so far and your bench actually looks solid enough to replace what you're losing with Dunn. It's a bit risky but that's how you have to play the game sometimes.

Although Haren has looked shaky and Dunn is normally as steady a power bet as any, I'd take a gamble with Haren and try to make some gains in pitching. If Upton or Kubel gets hot, then that would be a plus obviously.

Good dal for you. Your pitching needs Haren more than your hitting needs Dunn. You've got some good guys to take Dunn's spot in the OF.
